Shari is our AgriLife Extension - Horticulture agent at Fort Bend County. Her background includes a Master’s of Science degree in Horticulture from Texas A&M University in College Station. Shari has years of experience growing vegetables but continues to learn new ideas and techniques to hone her gardening skills.

Margo ‘Mac’ is the Master Gardener Volunteer Coordinator who truly loves all things that grow, including insects, dogs, and fungi. Her cheerful disposition is infectious and puts everyone in a good mood when she’s around. Her “tidy” office reflects her busy lifestyle and her ability to organize nearly 200 completely independent volunteers is simply amazing!

Marilyn has been an active Master Gardener since receiving training in Louisiana in 2002 and then transferring to Fort Bend County in 2004. Always up for a trip to visit gardens anywhere, she is afflicted with that universal gardeners’ malady which manifests itself as a persistent quest for fascinating new plants and design ideas. Less isn’t always more!

Robert has been a Master Gardener since 2006 and has been the webmaster since June 2007. Although he has a background in information technology, he loves learning more and more about gardening and horticulture in general. Combining his two passions, gardening and computers, he continually researches better gardening practices by using the tried and true method: find it on the Internet and then practice it at home.

Faith has been growing things all her life and became a Master Gardener in 2002 (following her mother, Phyllis, who was in the first MG class in Tarrant County and now is a member of FBMG) and was adopted by FBMG in July, 2008.  Her passion (or addiction) to roses flared up when she joined the Texas Rose Rustlers and is burning brightly.  She lives in the little town of Glen Flora with her dogs, cats and lots of gardens and of course the fun of having her mom across the street with lots of gardens there also.
